It was a nice sunshine filled day today, and I wanted to get out of the house, so I took a drive up to Mackinaw City with my mom and my daughter today. Below are a series of pictures that I took of the Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse.
This shot was taken from the view you would see if you were standing on the beach of Lake Huron.
Here is the view from the parking lot, including the Mackinac Bridge and a frozen Lake Huron in the background.
This building, located right next door, and on the same grounds of the lighthouse, is the living quarters. This is where the lighthouse keeper stayed when the lighthouse was still in operation.
And finally just a fun pic of the top of lighthouse from a different perspective.
